School for the Deaf.
Section 362. Creation and Location: A school for the education of the deaf is hereby created in the state of Oklahoma, to be known as the "Okla- homa School for the Deaf. " The school is hereby located permanently in the city of Sulphur, Oklahoma. (6986-6987. ) Section 363. ...able age and capacity, and of good moral character, shall be entitled to an education in the school for the deaf, without charge. (6988. ) Section 364. Compulsory Attendance: Every parent, company, guardian corporation, association, person or persons, within the state of Oklahoma, hav- ing control or charge of any deaf child or person, between the ages of seven and twenty-one, shall be required to send such child or person to some suitable school, where deaf children are taught and educated, for a period of at least six months in each year: Provided, that this shall not apply to any such, child or person where skilled private instruction is given for the same length of time each year.
