Attention must be called to the fact that the " type pieces " in GRADE lA, are not absolutely satisfactory, although they are the nearest approach to the desired type that could be located.
The Barth " Lullaby," for instance, has two eighth-notes which could have been simplified by eliminating the second and changing the first eighth to a quarter-note.
