' As the minutes of the Auxiliary Society for the period were destroyed by fire there is no method of ascertaining the views of that body upon the proposition of the parent institution. The Twelfth Annual Meeting of the Auxiliary New York Bible and Common Prayer Book Society was held in St. Paul's Chapel, on Wednesday, November 14th, 1827, pursuant to public notice. William E. Dunscomb, Esq. , President of the Society, took the chair at seven o'clock P. M.
The minutes of the Society's proceedings, at their last annual meeting, were read by the Secretary and approved.
The Twelfth Annual Report of the Board of Managers was then read by Mr.
