In December 1899, the consistory, in conjunction with St. John's consistory, authorized the publication by the pastor of a monthly paper to be known as the Wilhelm Evangel The first number appeared in January 1900. It was a newsy little paper of four pages and was distributed to all the members of the Charge at a subscription price of ten cents a year to all those willing to pay.
