May 10, 1912 A JOURNEY FROM NEW YORK TO MONTREAL BY WAY OF SARATOGA SPRINGS AND NIAGARA FALLS IN THE YEAR 1 824 July At 6 on the morning of the 11 fwi-1824 we repair'd to the foot of Courtland Street &^ had the mortification to find that the Boat was cotnpletely filled & pushed off before the time appointed to avoid sinking with excess of passengers, we re- turned & had A comfortable breakfast, after which at 10 we got on Board the C Livingston & by the conveniences of the Boat & the politness of the Capt were amply repaid for the disaster of the morning.
