That wIk^r the truths of reli^- 2B ion are professeJIy taught, nothing but pure, plain, simple truth should be found; — evangelical truth, unsophisticated by human additions, unimpaired by retrenchments, the suggestions of human wisdom, unincumbered with human philosophy in any form, but supported by the veracity of God, and certainly to be accomplished by his power and his faithfulness.
