In several instances the word "Pope" has been erased or defaced by some zealous reformer, into whose hands the document fell, perhaps fifty or sixty years after it was printed.

This is a fascinating document. I do not understand why it is listed as historical fiction as it appears to be an historical document. If it is authentic which it appears to be, it is a useful example of a dispensation that among other things declares Henry VII the undisputed legitimate king of England.Write Review:
