It was indorsed generally, and in due course the sellers paid Fox for the wheat and obtained the bill of lading. They did not indorse it in favour of the buyers, and it remained a, bill of lading only indorsed generally.
The necessary insurances were effected and the certificates of insur- ance were obtained by the sellers on July 23.
