I 'se got to do something to d'stact my mind; clar out !" and she waved her black hand in the direc- tion of the mistress's own room. "And say, Mis' Millicent, Mis' Millicent!" she called, for the mistress had already disappeared (knowing it to be the part of wisdom to await an explanation till the "storm" had blown over), "you tell Marsa Professah I doan' want him to talk to me any mo' about this kind of quality.
