I shut my eyes. Licked the blood from my lip. “Lucas showed up out of nowhere. He stopped him.”
“Oh my fucking God.”
In the silence that followed, I finally opened my eyes. Erin still gripped one of my arms as she stared at the worn carpet beneath our feet.

when I first started reading this, I have to admit I though it was going to be one of those cliche, high school stories. What I didn't expect was that by the end of the book I would be crying because of how strong the main characters live for each other is or because of how deep and full of meaning the book is. I have to admit I have always been a sucker when it comes to a good romance book or a book with a mysterious and dark yet lovable guy. Plus when it comes to emo guys I love them (they're so cute). This book had the perfect mix of that. I recommend this book if you love a good book that makes you want to cry. Their were a few errors grammar wise and spelling/quotation wise. Other then that though this one of the best books I have read in my life and I read a lot. Enjoy!
