1012 Symptoms : The engine will probably stop if the throttle is partly closed, and will be very difficult to start up. Often accompanied by popping in the carbu- retter ; and sometimes makes its presence known by the hiss of the entering air.
Remedy : Clean the valve and its dashpot (if any) carefully with a dry, clean rag ; and as a general rule avoid oil, as it clogs with the dust which is constantly entering the valve.
