In conclusion, I thank the ladies and gentlemen connected with the Fair, the officers and mem- bers of the Association, as well as the general public, for the confidence re- posed, and the uniform courtesy shown me at all times. W. L. Calhoun, President. The report of the Executive committee, to whom was referred the resolu- tion of Col. H. F. Starke, reported, and recommended that the said resolution be laid on the table.
