Nathaniel Hanks, who 4S J O H N M U N R E AND OLD BARNSTABLE ordered his company in one of the times of inaction to Mobile, where he sickened with malarial fever and died in August, 18u'3. This was the first death of my father's grandchildren, and he often said that he recognized no difference in his interest and love between them and his very own.
