On the 12th September the masonry and superstructure of Haw River Bridge was completed, and the track laying force under charge of Capt. Allen started again westward. On the 18th September the superstructure being laid, the Trains crossed to Graham Station. On the 15th October the Road was opened to Gibsonville Station, 8 3-10 miles further. On the 21st November to McLean's Station, 6§ miles further.
On the 13th December to Greenesborough, 8 miles further.
