What reading level is Recollections of Childhood Or Sally the Faithful Nurse book?
To quickly assess the difficulty of the text, read a short excerpt:

" Sally used to tell us of Mrs. Some- body, I forget her name, but a person of some consequence in the place, the flourishing mother of many children, and about to add to their number ; who in all the agonies of the tooth-ache, had recourse to George and his nut crackers : but George was a wary man ; it was a ticklish case ; and he would have nothing to do in the business, without the consent of the lady's husband ; so she was obliged to wait patiently, till the lad, despatched for the purpose,... returned with his permission ; " and then, my dear, " said Sally, exultingly, " she sat down, and George had it out in a minute, as clean as any doctor. " What the parish would do without George and Sally, I do not know ; for she is quite trie doctress of the place, very knowing in herbs, and skilled, (as may be sup- posed, ) in the complaints of children. Indeed in every way, she is a most kind and useful neighbour. Some few articles of common use, needles, pins, tapes, &c. , she is obliged, in self defence, to sell ; for her neighbours soon found out the careful person who always had these useful articles at hand, and "There was no end to their borrowing and begging;" so Sally increased her stock, and, as she says, though she does not " make much, " it is not all loss, as it was before.
