The Poor House property embraces the entire tract of land containing 302 acres, more or less, which was conveyed by the President and Directors of the Mechanics Bank of Baltimore, to the Trustees for the Poor of Baltimore City and County, by Indenture bearing date the 26th day of June, 1835, and recorded among the Land Records of Baltimore County, in Liber T.
