XIII. Serials. — Open serials or closed serials with more than two volumes missing are kept on the serial record, a dummy only being made for the shelflist. This dummy is made like the shelflist card except that the stamp ''For additions see serial record" is used in the place of accession numbers. This stamp is also added on the face of the official card. The serial record card is made out on a specially ruled card — see special rule on cards
