He sticks faithfully to his work, never shirking re- sponsibility, but welcoming it as an opportu- nity — and gradually there develops in him that self-reliance, that judgment of men and enter- prises; that clear-minded way of seeing things as they are and not as they are represented, that courage, faith, and far-sightedness which all go to make up the successful business man.
