—Lo que daría por ser otra vez tan joven.
—No eres tan viejo.
—Lo bastante —replicó Galen al tiempo que azuzaba a su caballo—. Bueno, ¿te apetece jugar a los dados esta noche en tu tienda mientras los demás disfrutan con las mujeres?
Estigio enarcó una ceja al escuchar la arrogante propuesta.
—¿Cómo sabes que no me uniré a ellos?

if your into rape, torture,and just plain sadistic brutality then this book is for you. i could not even finish it. The things this child went through and kept his sanity is absolutely absurd. This author definitely played out some hard fantasies here calling it a story.. If shooting for a coherent book, he should have tried to make it a little bit believable. I kept thinking the plot would move along, but no.....just one horrible trauma after another. Like i said before, someones hard core sick fantasies labeled as a book. Don't waste your time .

I am DEFINITELY Team Styxx!! Acheron was just so unfair to him, he never gave Styxx a chance to explain anything. I hated Risa, I hated Apollo, and basically everyone in the book except a few characters. When I first got this book, I was stunned by the sheer size of it. It's Huge! But as I started reading, the story pulled me in, I just couldn't put the book down. It made me cry, laugh, and feel maybe every emotion felt by man. This book is definitely worth buying and adding to your library!!!

Someone should really add The Ranger's Apprentice series to this website. It's a really good book.
