What reading level is The Lost Key book?
To quickly assess the difficulty of the text, read a short excerpt:

"Then they too may enter, as well." Henry turned and waved the others to the door. When they got there, they looked as amazed as Freddie and Henry but tried to hide it and said nothing, letting Henry do all the talking. "These are my other friends, this is Bonnie, and this is Jack, and this one here is Freddie and I am Henry.
"Greetings to all of you! Er-r-r-r-My name is Dominus Rabota, I am the master robot of the House of Armac...excuse me please...one moment while I adjust my speech pattern.
..." The robot turned its hand and twisted its small finger to the left, and then spoke again, "This may sound better to you, it's my other voice for humans." The robot now spoke in what seemed like an English accent without the robotic speech pattern, "Welcome! You may now enter." They all stepped into the house and looked around. The interior was large with a stone fireplace at one end and candles lining the large wooden mantel. On one side of the room was an architect's stand and next to it was a scribe's desk.
