At each annual meeting the certificate owners elected three trustees, for three years each, to fill vacancies due to expiration of term. The trustees were given pow- er to decide what companies should con- vey their property and when the sale should take place. The powers of the trustees, then, as defined by the ** trust" agreement, were to collect on the stock which they held the dividends of the several constituent companies, and after- wards, upon the trust certificates out- standing, to disburse their receipts as dividends.
