The splendid new Ballet, called The Revolt of the Harem, was represented for the second time last nig-ht, and was ag-ain re- ceived with tumultuous applause. Pauline Leroux^s dancing- and pantomimic action are full of grace and expression, and Mile. Van^ g-on, who is new to this country, is a very pretty woman, and a pleasing- danseuse ; her quiet easy motions form a strong- contrast to the tours cle force of Celeste ; the latter, however, pleases the majority of the audience the best, to judg-e by the applause her almost interminable pirouettes obtain.
