Tfiis variety of make of tea is called by the Chinese Koong-foo, meaning " Laborious or assiduous sort," more labor and time being expended in its preparation.
It is fired oftener and higher than the other sorts of this variety. Congou teas are divided into two sorts, " Red-leaf"' and " Black-leaf." The former comprising Ning-Chows, Oonfas, Oopacks, Kin-tucks and Kiu- Kiangs ; the latter embracing Kaisows, Sue-Kuts, Sin- Chunes, Saryunes, Ching-Wos and Paklins.
