"^ And since John the Baptist was filled with the Holy Ghost from his mother's womb, ^ it cannot be doubted but that our blessed Saviour, who, both in regard of the digni- ty of his person, and also of his office, was very much superior to the Baptist, was sanctified by the Holy Ghost from the very moment of his conception.
