This wish has been gratified. On her hundredth birthday the King sent a gracious message of congratulation, and the village residents organised a celebration on that day. Children were conspicuous in the gathering and Miss Winder was told that the little ones were glad to see her, and she replied " Aye, and I am glad to see them ; I was always fond of the children.
