These persons are now at New York and are desirous to proceed to their Friends at Bethlehem, for which they have my free Consent and Permission so far as the same may be consistent with your convenience and the good of the Service. If therefore there is no difficulty on that Account, you will be so obliging as to favour their Views by permitting them, their Servants and necessary Baggage to pass the Lines.
