General Fred Knefler was chosen temporary chairman and W. C. David secretary. The following named gentlemen M^ere present: Fred Knefler. George Butler, F. L. Bixby, Emmett Pee, W. H. T>. Merrill, W. C. David, N. R. Ruckle, J. P. Cameron, Charles Mansur. and C. H. Reynolds.
The chairman appointed Messrs. Pee, Bixby, Merrill, Wade, and Butler a committee on membership. Messrs.
Ruckle, Knefler, and Bixby were appointed a committee to NATIONAL GUARD OF INDIANA.
