The interior of this church is beautiful, having a fine nave and two double aisles ; in the former is a recumbent statue of Pope Martin V. , in bronze, over his sepulchre, dated 1 45 1 . Between the pilasters of this church are twelve niches, ornamented with pillars of verd-antique, con- taining statues of the twelve apostles.
