To quickly assess the difficulty of the text, read a short excerpt:

THE necessity of a School for the study of the Art of the Theatre has been recognized. For some years Mr. Gordon Graig has been elabo- rating his plan for the founding of such a School.
The project had its inception with him and has grown with him. For many years, in between his other work, he turned again and again to this dominating idea, fixing and refining it, destroying portions and remodelling it until it attained completion and was successfully launched under the auspices of a public- sp
...irited and celebrated Englishman.
The venture is buoyant and afloat, and, briefly stated, its aims are to make a thorough search into the conditions and practise of matters relating to the Theatre, to do what has never been done by any other Theatre, to explore the devious by-ways, to search for beauty and hold it captive, to .collect the broken fragments of the Theatre's beautiful architecture and re- construct the fabric, to unite all the Arts and Crafts of the Stage and achieve harmony.
To make its pulse beat faster and more rythmically and more vigo- rously, to discover and define once and for all the elemental forms and me- thods which are the bases and key-stones of the finest Theatre Art and to inspire a new Theatre into being.
