The greater the wealth produced by all the world, the greater will be the average amount that each person can consume.
ECONOMIC INTERDEPENDENCE 97 If, after the war is over, steps are im- mediately taken by all the nations to develop the world's supplies of food and raw material much more comprehensively than in the past, and much more effec- tively, then after a short period of suffer- ing the standard of living will again begin to advance, and eventually the rate of advance will be much more rapid than it has been hitherto.
