This is another form of cutaneous disease, which may affect any part of the body, and is easily known by the circular form which the pustules assume ; it is most frequently found on the scalp, shoulders, or arms. It is stated by some authors to be con- tagious, but Dr. Bateman is of a contrary opinion, and considers that the prevalence of the disease amongst children in schools or families depends on the same common exciting cause alone.
