The reason is, thatto constitute sealing the use of wax is not essential ; it is sufficient if the seal be impressed by the party on the plain parchment or paper with an mtent to seal, without making or leaving any impression or indenta- tion.^ In like manner the delivery of a deed will be presumed, if found in the grantee's possession.
