It will be impracticable in a work devoted merely to the con- sideration of the practice in such cases, to go into anything like a full consideration of the general principles of law which govern the partnership relation, and establish the rights and liabilities of the partners as between themselves and in their relations to creditors. These matters will be found fully dis- cussed in the elementary works on partnership, such as Story, Collyer, Gow, and other standard authors, to which the reader is referred.
