I keep my hand firmly in his, though his skin feels dry as paper and I am repulsed by him.
“You are so very brave,” he says, and then he releases my hand. “How are your injuries?”
I shrug. “I’ve had worse. How are yours?”
“It will take me some time to walk again, but they’re confident that I will. Some of our people are developing sophisticated leg braces anyway, so I can be their first test case if I have to,” he says, the corners of his eyes crinkling. “Could you push me behind the desk again...? I am still having trouble steering.”
I do, guiding his stiff legs under the tabletop and letting the rest of him follow. When I’m sure he’s positioned correctly, I sit in the chair across from him and try to smile. In order to find some way to avenge my parents, I need to keep his trust and his fondness for me intact. And I won’t do that with a scowl.
“I asked you to come here mostly so that I could thank you,” he says. “I can’t think of many young people who would have come after me instead of running for cover, or who would have been able to save this compound the way you did.”

I absolutely love this series.. It helped me go threw a time in my life that i felt i could not go on and instead it helped me keep going knowing that if Tris could do it so could I. I owe this series a lot of thanks and I am very happy i found it.

This is a really good book. I rally like he plot and I’ve read the hole s ris. Although, it is a shame thatTris had to o,die. I feel like if Veronica wrote another book after Allegiant, it would be almost boring because there is no more

So disappointing. Not only was the plot predictable and uncreative, but the book was really poorly written. All the character's speech and thoughts spelled out their intentions and history, making it feel extremely unnatural, robotic and boring. Having alternating chapters from Tris and Tobias both in first person was confusing and added little to no value. Plus, the ending made me feel completely unsatisfied. Oh well. Sorry Veronica.

I always loved the divergent series. every time I read it I got real mad when Tris died. anyway it was a great series and one of my favorites

This book was alright, but it didn't meet my expectations and it wasn't satisfying once I finished it.

I read these books while in seventh grade, I am now a junior and decided reread them and completely fell in love with them again. I remember the first time I read this book and I had the actual book (it was not online) and I through it across the room :) ooops. I through it not because it was a bad book or because it wasn't wrote well but because I became so attached to the characters and didn't want the books to end. And here I am again 4 years later and in years yet again. Only an incredible book can do that.
