Occasionally, pains will be felt in the region of the stomach. No relief being had, the symptoms become aggravated until the attack occurs. The face now becomes more flushed and swollen, the eyes fixed, and the pupils dilated ; though occasionally cases will be met with, in which the pupils contract closely.
