Mr Williams informed the Governor of Massachusetts of the transaction, and requested his advice. The governor of Plymouth understanding that the prisoners intended to appeal to England, also solicited the advice of Governor Winthrop, who replied that the whole country was interested, and urged the Plymouth government to have 'justice done' here, and it was, as they were all put upon trial.
