This I consider to be immaterial.
I am of opinion that the power ought to be confined to discommuning, and ought not to extend to depriving any person of a Wine Licence.

But I think that any interference with the creditor's legal remedy by action, till he shall have given notice to the University Authorities, ought to be pro- hibited; and I award, order, and direct, that no rule to that effect shall here- after be made, and that the Rule of the 18th May, 1844, be rescinded.
