Sir: — I have the honor to submit herewith Hospital Report Camp Shipp. near Morehead City, N. C, July 14th to 22nd.
In obedience to General Order No. 16, I arrived at camp on the 14th, at 10 o'clock p. m. The site of the camp is almost ideal, sit- uated in a splendid grove of oak and pine, on a high, sand bluff, overlooking Rogue Sound, a beautiful sheet of water, free f

UpoD approaching camp and hearing that there were no tents or other conveniences for the comfort of the men, and having on board a very sick man, Sergeant Wiggins, of Company I, who was taken en route, I directed Surgeon-Captain McMullen to go with him to the hotel at Morehead, secure a room, and stay by him till he was able to report to camp, which he did on Tuesday, the 17th.
