Four l)ridges over the Dedham branch of the Boston & Providence Railroad have been rebuilt since the last report, namely, Bellevue avenue, Park street. Beech street, and Dud- ley avenue; and the Centre-street bridge over the main road has been thoroughly repaired.
The bridge on Harrison avenue over the Boston & Albany Railroad has been partly rebuilt. The bridges over the same road on Washington street and Tremont street are in bad condition from the wastin...g of the iron from rust, and require immediate attention.

BOYLSTON-STREET BRIDGE.
The abutments for this bridge, begun in 1880, have been completed, at a cost of $77,375.77. The general design and construction of these abutments are shown in the accompany- ing plate.
Plans for the superstructure of this bridge have been prepared, and it is expected that the entire work will be completed during the coming summer.
