More intensive surveys of Baby Health Station districts with a view to securing the best available and most economical sites and quarters were made and a special formi of investigation and report calling for relevant locality mat- ters — infant mortality, child population, prevailing nationality, intelligence of parents, housing, child-caring agencies, other city-owned or rented places in dis- trict, was filled out when the question of renewal or discontinuance of any lease came up.
