To the Chairman and Members of the Board of Health : Gei9TLEMEn, — Pursuant to the provisions of section eleven of the Public Health By-law, I have the honor to submit for your consideration the following annual report upon the " Sanitary- Work *' done during the year, as well as upon the ** Sanitary condition of the Municipality." Sanitary Work.— The annual cleaning of yards, alleys, etc., and the removal of the rubbish and other accumulations therein during the winter months, was perhaps more thorousrh this than in any previous year, the work of gathering and carting the same to the dumping ground havin^p been effected not by day work as hitherto, but by means of a contract with Ilobert Briody, whose undertaking required him to continue at the job from the beginning of March until the 24th May, the price being $250.
