We had the opportunity to wor...k closely with the po- lice, highway departments during the flooding we ex- perienced this past spring. I was very pleased with cooperation, and professionalism shown by all. In an emergency of this size, it is good to know that through teamwork the job can be accomplished.
As always the Selectmen, Fire Wards, myself, and the men of the Deering Fire and Rescue wish to thank the residents of Deering for their continued support, and their efforts in fire prevention. It takes all of us to make this a safe town to live in.
