As of 30th November, 1956 there were only sixteen cases reported in the whole state of New Hampshire while in 1955 there was a total of two hundred forty cases.
A number of cases of chicken pox, whooping cough and mumps have occurred among the school children but only four or five cases were reported to the local health officer.
