ARTHUR M. MOORE, June 16, 1954 Chairman of the School Board- SOUTH HA
...MPTON TOWN REPORT 49 's To the School Board and Citizens of South Hampton: I herewith submit to you my first report as Superin- tendent of your schools.
The school year began Wednesday, September 8, 1954, with an initial enrollment of 48 pupils. WMle this registration does not appear excesisive, the large number of pupils in the lower room presents a problem. Thirty- one pupils in four grades is an unusually heavy load for a teacher. It is also a handicap that the room is really too small to accommodate this number of pupils.
