It will thus be seen that the affairs of the Board are in excellent shape, with a comfortable balance on hand in each fund and a prospective income sufficient to maintain the schools at their present high standard of efficiency, to keep the school buildings in good condition, and improve their lighting, heating and ventilation, and to erect such additional new buildings as the urgency for more school accommoda- tions seems to demand.
