During the year we received a donation of $5000.00 from the Estate of Arnold E. O'Brien. This has been placed with the Trustees of the Trust Funds and the interest generated is turned over to the library yearly. We have also received many books by donation and would like to express our sincere thanks to all those who have helped us in this way.
A special note should be made that Lynn Walker has been worki...ng toward a "Friends of the Library" group. Hopefully this will come to pass in 1938.
In conclusion, 1987 has been a good year for the library and again we thank everyone who has helped make it so.
