Als Versuchsobjekt hat Hantzsch hauptsächlich Ozim- ketone angewandt. Kattffmann* hat nun vermittels diee^ Umlagerungshypothese eine Theorie aufzustellen versucht. Er nimmt an, dass bei einer Pseudosäure ein Gleichgewieht zwi- schen zwei Formen, welche beide echte, einfache Säuren sind, existiert, und zeigt, dass die Hydrolyse normal sein muss.
Diese Phänomene erinnern an die Saponifikation von Alkyl- estem. Diese Verbindungen haben ein äusserst geringes Leit- vermögen, durch Zusatz von NaOH ab...er werden schwach hydrolysierte Natriumsalze gebildet. Sie soUten also Pseudo- säuren sein. Die von Hantzsch beobachteten langsamen Neutralisationsphänomene zeigen auch Ähnlichkeit mit der * Hantzsch, Ber. d. d. chem. Gea. 32, 575 (1899).
' Mit Nitromethan habe ich folgenden Versuch angeatellt: Wenn die aliphatiBchen Nitroverbindungen amphotere Elektrolyte wäreD, sollte es möglich sein, dass sie Salze von dem Typus CH,N0— OONCH, bilden könnten. Tch habe die Oefrierpunktsemiedrigung fur Nitro- methan bestimmt.
