The Collector also adds that he had great pleasure in being able to inform thi' Government that rice, which was a few days ago selling in the ])azar at the enormous rate of ten seers of sixty sicca weight per rupee, has been reduced to very nearly its former price, and that this has been occasioned by the meritorious and active exertions of Mi*.
