I am Gene Kozlowski, an independent oil and gas producer. My company, MAKOIL — and we, incidentally, make oil — is the largest producer of oil and gas from Feder...al lands in the State of Nevada.
As you may know, 85 percent of the State of Nevada is Federal lands. I am here today on behalf of the Independent Petroleum As- sociation of America, the IPAA, a national trade association rep- resenting more than 5, 500 independent oil and natural gas produc- ers.
