It affords a striking verification of the fact herein claimed, that the whole tendency of the equation is to the benefit of manufacturing nations, as it can not be disputed that they are the ones who actually do possess the largest THE EQUATION OF INTERNATIONAL DEMAND. 195 proportion of dead stock, and even if the reasons for such tendency I have advanced are not valid, it rests with my opponents to find reasons that are, as the result certainly occurs.
